CFP Board is now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on CFP Board's Board of Directors (Board), the strategic governing body of the organization, beginning in January 2017. We encourage you to consider applying or to encourage your qualified colleagues to submit an application by the June 10, 2016 deadline.
The Board is the policy-making and oversight body of CFP Board. The Board is responsible for furthering CFP Board's mission and acts on behalf of the public, CFP® professionals and other stakeholders. Board Directors serve four-year terms, and each year, two to four new Board positions are available.
Board Directors have a significant opportunity to participate in guiding the policy direction of the organization as it moves into the future to effectively meet the needs of the stakeholders of the organization and further the benefits to the public by ensuring the CFP® certification is upheld as the recognized standard of excellence for personal financial planning.
The deadline for submitting a completed application form is June 10, 2016. If you submitted an application in years past and would like to be considered for the 2017 Board of Directors, please complete a new application form to express your continued interest.
