Education/Experience
Michael has worked as a Financial Advisor since 2001. He earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2006, as well as his Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation in 2014.

Michael earned his B. A. in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Vanderbilt University. He then spent four years living in Spain, Brazil, Italy, France and Japan, where he studied foreign languages and music, and taught English. Michael subsequently earned his M. A. in Hispanic Languages and Literature from the University of Texas- Austin. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Portuguese at UCLA.

Away from the office

Michael enjoys traveling, skiing and sailing with his family. He is an avid tennis player, and his passions include playing the guitar and Brazilian music, foreign languages and cultures. Michael is also a member of the Academy of Magical Arts, Inc. at the Magic Castle.
